It's better to lose weight the healthy way by eating less calorie food ie, more vegetables and fruits. Besides eating these, you will need to exercise to burn down the extra calories. If you only eat healthy but don't work out, it will not work effectively or it will not work at all. One more thing, your determination is also one of the important factors to lose weight.
