Hello everyone. I have recently come across a new social site whose name is corlif.com. I liked its concept of Online Social Networking along with a facility of Voluntary Online Charity for its members. Corlif was launched on October 1st, 2011 with the aim of designing a social site which is based on human values along with a positive approach towards social causes. Corlif has got many interesting features like Charity and Write to Santa.
I have seen that Corlif has got four interesting features which I liked very much and they are Write to Santa, Apply for Philanthropist User, Charity and Desktop e-Journal. WRITE TO SANTA is a special feature which allows the Corlif users to express their problems or write a plea if they need help from someone to solve their problems. APPLY FOR PHILANTHROPIST is another feature where one can register as a philanthropist user by helping out people who genuinely need help. CHARITY is yet another feature which lets the members of Corlif provide monetary aid or help of any kind in the form of donation or assistance to active non-profit organizations or groups. DESKTOP e-JOURNAL is also another interesting feature in Corlif that requires a person to download this software and write down their thoughts revolving their daily life or happenings to upload it later on Corlif, which can be viewed by others.
I have also noticed that Corlif is holding an annual contest, whose result will be announced at the end of the year. After the results announcement, lucky members of Corlif can win gift items like iPod and Online Gift Vouchers. I really found this contest to be interesting as it can then hold back the interest of Corlifs members in the site.
Corlif has also started a Blog of its own on the Internet, where various information about natural calamities and other catastrophes from all over the world is uploaded. This information acts as a news about all such incidents taking place over the world. Charity Organizations and Individuals who go through this blog can then provide some assistance to the needy people of such incidents in the form of monetary help or in the form of donating things like cloths, food and other such articles. The names of these donors is then announced on the Blog Site. Some known NGOs donate towards Corlif's Blog. I really feel that this corlif.com is a social site with a difference as it goes much beyond just networking among people. I hope that this site will be liked by other people as well.
