[h=2]8 Blogging Mistakes to Avoid:[/h] [h=3]Ignoring Readers Taste :[/h] It is always important to know your readers taste, write content on what your readers love to read about. So that they love to come back to your website/blog and your post will help to solve their problems. Before start writing, just ask your audience about what type of content are they interested in or willing to learn from you, If you have a Facebook page, you can turn your friends into fans. Discussion generation is the key here, with a simple status update, discussion generation you can find out the taste of the people around you in the same niche, so you can write about relevant topics in your website or blog. With this information you can judge the problems of your readers and work according to it. You can use your blogs official facebook fan page and twitter page for asking questions and know about their taste. [h=3]Be Open and Creative :[/h] Remember, be open and creative always whether in your writing or your approach towards the readers. There is nothing right or wrong in the blogging, what ever you find it useful, make sure you keep straight to the point. Even the article is small, simple, never mind. Always be honest and speak from your heart as readers will be able to tell if you are trying to lie. Dont worry if the information which youre trying to say is very simple or basic one, trust me there are hundreds of people online who will not know what you know. [h=3]If you dont PROMOTE, You will never get TRAFFIC :[/h] To be honest, once you publish a new blog post in your new blog, how will the people know that you have started the blog or you have written some good content ? Many people fail to do this important step and expect traffic to automatically appear out of the thin air. Once youre blog has reached some heights, people get to know about it via social media or search engine. At the initial stages may be for the first 6 months, you should promote your blog post. [h=3] Post as Frequently :[/h] What most of the successful bloggers have in common ? they write frequently on their blog. Your blog is like a machine, the longer you run, the higher it gives you the benefits. So, never keep it idle. Try to post frequently and there are reasons behind this statement : Posting frequently on blogs will make search engines updated that there are regular fresh contents on your blog. Search engines love fresh unique content. [h=3] Never Publish without Proof Reading :[/h] You may be a great fellow in English, but you shouldt avoid proof reading once youve completed the article. Spending 2 mins after finishing the post to check the grammar and spelling of your post content will avoid unwanted bad impressions from your readers. Tip : You may use Firefox to write, because it has a in-built spell checker and You can write on Microsoft word, because it has a built in grammatical error check. [h=3] Say No to Copied Content :[/h] If youre hiring content developers or yourself writing articles, never copy articles from other sites. Avoid duplicate content or copyright content from others. It will land you in a trouble not at the moment, but some time later when you articles get indexed in the search engines. [h=3] Few Personal Tips :[/h] When hyperlinking post, always try to use Target=_blank this makes readers to open the window in a new tab. I strongly recommend this because, currently your readers may be in the tab reading your blog article, when you dont provide this, they may redirect to other page in the same tab, that makes to lose our readers from our blog. Also dont post offensive post or any illegal tricks. For some people it may be a pleasure to know about all these illegal stuff, but for your good trust worthy readers may find it offensive and report spam of your blog. Mind it, Google are talking very serious action against these spam blogs these days based on the people content. Credibility is the key in blogging, Never lie to your readers especially when you are paid to write reviews, tell your readers its a paid review. So these are the some of the mistakes which I personally experienced. Avoid these mistakes and expect a huge change in your blog traffic, stats, readership, trust worthiness and interaction with the readers.
