I think marketers lose sight of their goals or they learn and see how hard it is to get traffic to your blog. Content is the key. Most times, if you have great content, the rest of the world can do your marketing and backlinking for you. Take Facebook for example. You think Zuckerberg posted in forums and blogs to get the word out there? Heck no.
Great content leads to traffic and the more traffic you have, the more sales you are able to make. Fact.
Day by day more and more people are attracted to affiliate marketing and it's a possibility that you might be one of them. Indeed, affiliate marketing is one of the most cost effective ways of making a living on the Internet. It's also one of the easiest means for a newbie to start a business. It's a fair deal between the merchant and his affiliate because nobody loses anything. Both profit when a sale is made.
But in order for a sale to be made the affiliate has to continuously advertise the product and services that he had signed up to promote. He has to convince buyers and customers to buy from him and not his competition which is growing by the day. Frustration starts to creep in in a very short time and now he is ready to give up and try something else.
