Seems as though Tiger Woods has lost is lust for the game after that marital scandal that rocked his career. Can he regain is old fire? Or will he never be the same Tiger. What do you think?
I don't necessarily agree that Tiger has lost his lust for the game. Granted, the recent scandal, his divorce, his injuries and whatever is is going on in his life have all diverted his attention away from his game and has sometimes portrayed him as someone in a downward spiral.
Having said that, let's now look at his statistics. He is currently #1 in the world (by a healthy margin), the #1 money earner on the PGA Tour, #1 in FedEx points and has won 4 tournaments this year - all this against, in my opinion, better competition than existed 10 years ago. That doesn't sound like someone who has lost his lust for the game.
I think part of the problem is that people expect him to win every tournament he enters, and when he doesn't win, they think he's over the hill, not the same man he used to be.
In my opinion, Tiger is the greatest golfer of our time and will remain so for a long time to come.
