The manual time tracking system is too complex to monitor large number of employees at workplace. Automated time clock systems are necessary to accurately measure employee time and attendance. However, web based time and attendance software system is getting more popular due to accuracy and affordability. Small and medium sized businesses can have these systems at a reasonable price with lots of unique features.

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to generate a discussion about time and attendance software. There are many small businesses that track their employees time using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. I personally know companies that use separate spreadsheets for each individual project they track. Every Monday morning, employees have to find and update each project-specific spreadsheet that they had worked on during the previous week.
Imagine what happens when there are multiple clients and multiple projects? Its a nightmare and the process is overwhelming, not to mention time consuming and error prone. Do you think its a waste of time and resources to do it this way? Do you think companies should do away with manual processes to save time and money? Do you think automated software that tracks and records employee time and attendance data is worthwhile?
Whats your thought about this?
