Hi Heather H,
From what I've gathered so far is that physical products require much more effort (even if you aren't doing the handling). Also, the risk of the product breaking during shipping is there.......if you do want to sell physical products go for something that isn't at risk breaking during shipping or handling.
Personally, I think electronic products (i.e software, ebooks, etc) are an easier route to go. Less hassles, just one download and that's it.
Agree. I think software and ebooks such as information products are a great way to go. Often you have to have more technical expertise to get them marketed in the right way but once you've learnt a few basic tricks it will become a lot easier.
If you do in fact opt for physical products, there are still some great ways of selling through ebay. Consider contacting a reputable dropshipping company. This means that you just order top ups of products and they will be sent to the customer direct for the dropshipping company, meaning you never have to stock the product. Thats a win and can work through both amazon and ebay
I've opted for information products and am a member of a great system, so I'm learning lots every day. Also this forum is great for educating yourself and getting good advice from others, so stick around and keep asking questions.
Hope that helps you.
