And while page rank of Wikipedia matches it's authority, page rank of a smaller website may not. This is because Google updates page rank of a website only about twice a year and during that time there could be a lot of changes on the site.
But what is more important is that you shouldn't be obsessed with idea to get high page rank in order to get high Google rankings. Because you can always outrank higher page rank websites if you put great content on your website and do a proper backlinking work.
