Snakk Media is an mobile advertisement company that of course offers advertisement solutions to business. The chairman of the company is Derek Handley, who also co-founded and sold his last advertisement venture "The Hyperfactory" which provides advertisement for Fortune 500 companies. Richard Branson (Derek Handley's partner in the B team) has endorsed Snakk Media and even had a brief discussion with the team and investors at the IPO from his private island, although he is not an majority stakeholder, he is in the top 50 shareholders of the tightly hold stock.
Article with info from above:
The company is in it's early stages but plans to become one of the largest mobile advertisement firms up there with Facebook and Yahoo and has strategically placed themselves in a position to do so. Recently the stock has bounced back as it's rumored they have scored a major advertisement deal with 'Intel' and it appears that it could be true with one of the case studies advertising the giant. Pepsi-co and MTV are also notable clientele for their products and shows.
Snakk media's clientele:
I'm pretty cautious when speculating but this was the one thing (the link at the bottom of the paragraph) that made me certain I was onto a good thing. This loon from another forum had posted some rant about another New Zealand tech company called "Xero", which is quite popular in NZ I must say. Anyway he successfully predicted not when the stock price would go up, but the fact that it was going to go up dramatically from future investment -wasn't such a loon after all! The way he was talking about Snakk Media and it's comparison to another NZ success story (Diligent Board Member Services) when it's share price was $0.08 from an IPO one year before of $0.80 and 4 - 5 years later sits at $6.00+, I must say that he was pretty convincing.
-Can't post other forums sorry-
So off a long shot, I am now speculating this billionaire-endorsed company with the stock so cheap and with so much opportunity, I just keep buying it up. What I want to know, it's a long shot, but does anyone else have any more info on the company or? Just out of curiosity.
I just wish I had tapped into NZX and ASX long ago, NZ for it's tech stock and Australia for it's construction and mining stock!
