A breif description of ArbitragePro can be found here.
This arbitrage service provider claims to provide a service 'designed for the professional arber in mind.' Boy do they deliver on that promise. This service is easily the most professional service that I have seen so far. The website interface is smooth, professional, and so well built that it makes you wonder why the rest of the websites on the internet aren't this good. Clearly the interface was written by a very skilled programmer.
Of course we aren't looking for services that are just skillfully crafted, I know that, so lets get to all of the wonderful content/options this skillful website crafter has put into this service.
First of all, there are a lot of arbs. Here is a screenshot I took with most of the filters turned off. http://www.sportsarbitrageguide.com/picts/...geprotrial1.jpg It shows arbs available for all bookmakers, ranging between 0% and 25% for all sports. They clearly seperate each event, and when they report how many arbs they have found each month, each event counts as one arb, not one arb for each bookmaker combination as reported by many other services. The huge list on the right is summarised on the left with all of the events listed with the highest trade possible being shown. When new ones are found, a very simple audible alert sounds and it pops up on the left hand side list so you can easily find it. If you are interested in placing the arb, then click on the arb and it takes you to this screen: http://www.sportsarbitrageguide.com/picts/...geprotrial2.jpg which as you can see shows you all of the details about the arb, including the date of the event and all bookmakers who offer odds on the arb, providing you with recourse if you miss one half of the arb or something goes wrong. There is a little button with the picture of a calculator on it, and when you press it, it pops up with pre-rounded figures telling you what you should be on each side. You find out almost instantly how much you should place either side. Brilliant!
To assist in your arb selections though, there are a host of possible filters. Every filter you have ever dreamed of, is there. http://www.sportsarbitrageguide.com/picts/...geprotrial3.jpg You have your display, alert and maximum displayed arb filters. You can filter on date of event, do you dont get stuck with an arb which isn't acted on for a month or anything silly like that. And you can filter odds which are more than 25% over market average so as to reduce the chance of palpable/obvious errors.
http://www.sportsarbitrageguide.com/picts/...geprotrial4.jpg Then there is the 'rules' filter. All of their arbs are already filtered to ONLY show matched rules. You have to choose which mismatched rules you will allow through. So in this screenshot, I have chosen to allow tennis matches which are one rule apart be matched together. Just as an example (although I made an error with T1 and T2, I think you want to match T2 and T3, T3 and T4, and T4 and T1). Anyway, their rules filter is remarkable. I am sure there was a lot of work put into setting that sort of database up so that such a system could work.
Of course there is also the bookmaker filter, and the sport filter, so you can be given arbs only from your chosen bookmakers and sports.
http://www.sportsarbitrageguide.com/picts/...geprotrial5.jpg This image shows another neat feature of this arb service. Instead of only being able to see all arbs, you can actually look at all of the upcoming events and see the best odds on those events. Choose your sport, and see the best odds on any game at any time. This could be really useful if you fancy yourself as a real sports fanatic. If you know a lot about a tournament or like to watch odds on a particular psort or something, you could use this to predict where arbs come from. I seriously recommend avoiding this for all novices, but I know some people do 'speculate' on arbs.
They are all of the screenshots I took of Arbitrage Pro. Unfortunately I only have a standard 2 day trial, and I have been ridiculusly busy over the past two days, so I didn't get much of a chance to really sit and watch the arbs that it produces (so no real feedback on error rates, duration of arbs etc). Maybe the kind people at arbitrage pro will provide me with another trial in the future Or maybe I will have to subscribe. So many services, so little money!
Good Arbing! Shane
They also include a help section, within which they have a text explanation of the Hockey rules of every bookmaker they use. It seems that hockey rules tend to be individual from bookmaker to bookmaker, so while ArbitragePro have attempted to catgeorise and filter mismatched rules, it is important for you to understand which rules are being used by your bookmakers exactly so you can be sure. Once again, they seem to have gone to a lot of trouble to colelct this information. Very impressive.
Shane
PS: They increased my trial out to 5 days because I said nice things about them

QUOTE(svtej @ May 27 2007, 07:16 PM) Sorry if I just a newbie on this topic.
I would like to try this Abitragepro but I still have several questions:
1.How can I get their FREE TRIAL? I can't find any link on their website about this offer. 2.How reliable their service compare with SureBetPro? Any comment? 3.Do they accept payment from MoneyBookers account?
Thanks for sharing.
----------------------- ----------------------- Free trial? Ask them.....they have oblidged for people I have recommended. Realiablility? Very good. I have used SBP and thought it was awful. Slow, wrong prices, wrong lines. Arb pro is a decent service. It is the only service I use. It is expensive, but it pays for itself for me (full time trader). To top it all, their customer service is terrific. No, they do not take moneybookers.

Just a quick follow up a year later to my last post.
STILL using arbitrage pro. Still paying their high fees, as it is good value for a full time trader. I have still yet to find a better service. I would like to see some more books added. They do add slowly and they do have the best books on their system.
For me, I think simplicity, accuracy, speed and a built in automatic adjustable calculator is paramount. Now this service has all of these facilites. The calculator is excellent. Simply click on the arb, it shows you you suggested bet (mine is currenlty 175 which accounts for some of the books that do not take large bets) and away you go. I have arb pro on my small screen. I keep it there, then open the two books on my big screen and dart my eyes from one to the other with ease. No horrid colours, no info that does not need to be present.
This enables me to be quick on the draw. Being quick is everything. I am currently going through the other services, but each time I log on to another service, I am horrified at their amatuer approach.
Arbitrage pro is an apt name for such a professional service. Any pro arber should take a two day trial at the very least. I can get you a trial if yoiu want one....so can others here. I have used them non stop since I started trading nearly two years ago.
Good luck.

Hi, I wonder if you would be so kind as to answer me a few questions. How many books do you currently use for arbitrage pro and how many books have you been closed down on because they don't like you making a profit? Is it possible to limit your books to about 10 of the higher rated bookies and make a healthy profit? I assume not all of your bets are limited to 175, but just the books having lower limits? Finally, if you are willing to say, what is your average monthly profit after fees, on what turnover, and at what average arb price? Oh yes, what starting capital would be needed for the monthly turnover you have? Many thanks, Asilad

Answers to your questions, sorry for the delay....I KEEP saying I will return more often, but damn Im busy. Actually, been in hospital and stuff, no matter....answers follow ; 1) How many books do you currently use for arbitrage pro ? 23 currently. It fluctuates to 25 or even 27 sometimes. 2) how many books have you been closed down on because they don't like you making a profit? Most of them. Books that have not closed me down at one point or other..... Pinnacle, Greek, usually 5dimes (but I have been limited b4), Canbet, bet1128 ALL THE REST HAVE LIMITED ME at some point. Some very quickly. Some not very often. 3) Is it possible to limit your books to about 10 of the higher rated bookies and make a healthy profit? No. IMHO 4) I assume not all of your bets are limited to 175, but just the books having lower limits? Correct, although I like that kind of level, incase of mistakes. Easier to rectify. 5) Finally, if you are willing to say, what is your average monthly profit after fees, on what turnover, and at what average arb price? Weekly about 200 - 300 profit. Turnover, never worked it out. Average arb price, never worked it out, only interested in profit. 6) Oh yes, what starting capital would be needed for the monthly turnover you have? Many thanks, In my opinion, and I see people say otherwise, about 10,000. Also, I would like to add that arbing is getting harder all the time. The USA factor didnt help, and now the recession doesnt seem to be helping either. I have other income streams and I need them. Arbing will ease up on the toughness, but until then, I batton down the hatches and make what i can. Sorry for the delay.

Very good post, I would like to be a part-time arbitragist but I don't know which service to subscribe. Do you have any suggestion? Thanks

In reply to the question "How many books have you been closed down on because they don't like you making a profit?" you said "Most of them." How did you go about becoming "unlimited" again?
