Asian stocks were mixed on Friday, as focus turned to the release of US jobs data for clues on when the Federal Reserve could cut back its stimulus program.
China�s Shanghai Composite slipped 0.43 percent or 9.56 points at 2,237.51. Hong Kong�s Hang Seng fell 0.34 percent or 81.67 points at 23,630.90.
Japan�s Nikkei rose 0.33 percent or 49.57 points at 15,227.06. Singapore�s Straits Times shed 0.39 percent or 12.06 points at 3,112.32.
South Korea�s Seoul Composite was up 0.11 percent or 2.11 points at 1986.88. Taiwan�s Taiwan Weighted was up 0.19 percent or 16.26 points at 8,391.80.
