So assuming you have read about your Blog Title, Keywords and PageRank, here is the simple technique of getting your blog higher in search engines for keywords.
Lets say your blog is called MissDiva and "Vintage Clothing" is the main keyword you have chosen (which you have put in your title), to help your blog rank highly in a search engines like google you need links from relevant sites to your blog, preferably with some pagerank and preferbly they will link to you blog with the anchor text "Vintage Clothing" rather than you blog name...
So If someone includes your in their BlogRoll instead of the link being "MissDiva" request they put something Like
"Miss Diva Vintage Clothing Blog" with "Vintage Clothing" being the actual link.
Think of it like this, the internet is a highway and your blog is a town, the more huge road signs pointing to your town (relevant sites with high PR) with "Vintage Clothing" on. the more google will think your blog is an important part of the map for that keyword, which in turn will make them raise your blogs ranking for it.
If someone links to your blog with an image, make sure they use an Alt Tag with your keyword in.
