Dear Friends,
I want to know your views, according to my experience relevant forum posting and blog commenting under your niche are still effective technique of link building.
Please share your knowledge
Relevant forum posting becomes an effective link building technique due to its signature. For example, if you're a fan of Usher and you decided to join his forum, you can immediately make friends. You can talk to them and share them your experiences (as why you support Usher and why you love his songs). If at any time you decided to market and promote your products, for example: Usher photos, limited printed t-shirts, magazines featuring Usher, free CD, etc., it becomes easier to sell them. You can private message other fans and convince them to buy. Other fans who reads your threads might also click on your signature to buy your products.
Blog commenting, on the other hand, isn't as effective as forum networking. This technique yields slow results. Commenting on relevant blogs becomes an effective way of building relationships with other experts like you - especially if your comments are consistently high in value and you legally link it to your website.
