I used Convey Law for selling my Leasehold flat last summer.While I was in conveyancing my conveyancer went on maternity leave. It took nearly three months to complete conveyancing, having asked when I started if it would be possible to complete within five weeks. During that period the single biggest problem was that Convey Law forwarded their own Leasehold inquiries form to the managing agents, rather than the (much more detailed) form which had been sent to them by the buyer. I eventually asked the supervisor to get involved. It took about two weeks from getting the supervisor involved to complete conveyancing. Shortly before completing conveyancing my buyer threatened to pull out as a result of the delays. I then asked the managing agent to answer the outstanding questions within 24 hours, as a favour to me.
