Getting website or a webpage at the top of search engine's organic listing is a very difficult task. Building quality back links is the key in achieving high visibility in SERPs and high page rank.
1. Make a list of forums that have high page rank (above 4) and that allows signature, provide useful information in the forums to the users regarding the products you are offering, and put your anchor text on the signature.
2. Write useful and informative articles on the topics, related to your products or services, submit these articles to the different article directories with high page rank like Ezinearticles and Articlebase etc, only give your link on resource box or author bio.
3. Make blogs of your website on different blogging platforms like blogger, WordPress, Posterous and Typepad etc, provide relevant information in these blogs to capture users interest.
4. Write press releases, and distribute them through different websites like Newswire.
5. Create videos at post them to top video sites, promoting your site/product which will boost your traffic.
