LUCKNOW: Once again raking up the black money issue, BJP national president Rajnath Singh on Sunday said that if the Bharatiya Janata Party forms the government at the Centre, it would bring back all the black money stashed in foreign banks within 150 days. "The money brought back would be spent on the welfare schemes," he said.
"An undercurrent of change can be felt everywhere," Rajnath said and added that this reminded him of 1977 when Congress lost all the 85 seats. Hitting out at the Congress, Singh while addressing a gathering at Geetapalli in Lucknow said that the Congress rule has resulted in scam worth over Rs 550 lakh crore.
"Congress has made India a nation of scams," Rajnath said and added that the trio of Samajwadi Party, Bahujan Samaj Party and Congress are all similar. "If Congress is responsible for price rise, SP and BSP are equally responsible for supporting the Congress at the Centre, Rajnath said. Singh would address two corners meetings on Monday.
