Epic Research Update : Asian Markets
Asian equities declined on Wednesday as trading volumes returned to normal with Japan and South Korea resuming trade following a long weekend.
China�s Shanghai Composite was down 0.57 percent or 11.50 points at 2,016.54. Hong Kong�s Hang Seng shed 0.84 percent or 185.50 points at 21,790.83.
Japan�s Nikkei tumbled 2.22 percent or 320.85 points at 14,136.66. Singapore�s Straits Times declined 0.48 percent or 15.52 points at 3,230.04.
South Korea�s Seoul Composite fell 0.40 percent or 7.85 points at 1,951.59. Taiwan�s Taiwan Weighted shed 0.47 percent or 41.57 points at 8,870.82.
