The Dow and the S&P 500 finished at record highs again on Monday after a closely watched read on US manufacturing was revised to show more strength than initially indicated.The Dow Jones industrial average rose 26.46 points or 0.16 percent, to 16,743.63. The S&P 500 gained 1.40 points or 0.07 percent, to 1,924.97. But the Nasdaq Composite dropped 5.42 points or 0.13 percent, to 4,237.20.
The Dow Jones industrial average fell 21.29 points or 0.13 percent, to end at 16,722.34. The S&P 500 inched down just 0.73 of a point or 0.04 percent, to 1,924.24. The Nasdaq Composite dropped 3.12 points or 0.07 percent, to 4,234.08.
The Dow Jones industrial average rose 15.19 points or 0.09 percent, to 16,737.53, the S&P 500 gained 3.64 points or 0.19 percent, to 1,927.88 and the Nasdaq Composite added 17.56 points or 0.41 percent, to 4,251.64.
The Dow Jones industrial average rose 98.58 points or 0.59 percent, to 16,836.11, the S&P 500 gained 12.58 points or 0.65 percent, to 1,940.46 and the Nasdaq Composite added 44.59 points or 1.05 percent, to 4,296.23.
