We've tools like Pay Per Click (PPC), Affiliate, Banner, SEO, web analyzer etc...
But for me, these are just tools.
Method 1: Selling your professions
Use your skills and talents to find freelance/extra jobs. Unlike US, UK etc, most of the countries don't have the sufficient supply(companies) to offers jobs for such huge demand (global e-workforce). i.e everyone who know typing/translation fight for the small market (mostly provided by US and UK companies).
How do you fight with those professionals like Dr., pros. degree in related skills then?
-There are Niches markets. Go to you local area forums like school forums, community forums seeks freelance jobs.
-Sell it with low price, high quality, good services.
-Create your own profile. ***always start building your blog/website for your personal profile 1st plz.
-Get more work related testimonial in e-network like friendsters, or-kut etc, dare to spread the message to all of your network friends. I introduced my very 1st blog via friendsters and within 1 days I get 200 visitors.
JUST MAKE YOURSELF FAMOUS! NOT YOUR SITES
(site topic: most of the successful blogs got a "character" there. Either a comic mascot or the blogger himself, not the content. Don't believe? email me.
Method 2: Think locally-Global
"The world's local Bank" HSBC bank slogan.
-Always think of WHAT is the market demand for your areas.
-Always think of HOW is the market standard for your areas.
Most of the countries don't have such good living standard as US and UK, e-buyers are not enough to support a your e-stores in most of the countries. So you either sell things that can go beyond borders with low transport fees, for rare or valuables goods. OR selling things that your market requires.
Just start in the local if you are just nobody in Global.
Method 3: Provide information service that your local communities needs.
-help your local school/student to make forums
-help people to make family chart on the web.
All these may only requires you to send an proper email to your school, local entities, your neighbors.
Scare what dude. Just an email!
Method 4: Use constant ID, you can look at my testing on this things. I create 3 blogs along these years to test the ID things. try search ggeranium in Google. 2pages with only my content. I.e.? since your are not famous yet, just use can unique ID to make the search engine remember the unique word. Just wonderful when the time comes.
Method 5: Analyze your service and your targets 1st! basic SWOT analyze already can help you much one this. If not, be the 1st follower.

PPC - Pay per click are when a potential customer clicks on the link that you are advertising for the merchant. Example Google adwords PPC (2nd kind, not sure what is the common name) - You allow merchants to place links on your website and when a potential customer clicks on that link you get paid. (Example" Google Adsense) PTC sites - You join a site for free and are paid to click on advertisements. (Ususally by other members of the site promoting their other PTC sites) (There are many sites like these but they only pay 1/4 cent per click which is a waste of time but adbux pays at least 1 cent, which means it saves me 3 clicks every time) PTR sites - This can be joined in PTC sites or separate. You read emails and will paid according to site's payment scheme. Or you join a site which sends you paid emails for you to read. (Example: http://www.emailcashpro.com or http://www.e-mailpaysu.com) Both sites pays at least 2 cents per email. HYIP - High Yield Investment Programs. You change your cash into online currency e-gold. You then join any HYIP. These sites can promise returns of even 500-1000%. (I am not recommending due to the fact that I have not PERSONALLY made money from these unlike my PTC & PTR sites) Affiliate Marketing - You market products for a merchant. These are ususally DIGITAL products like e-books and softwares. (Example: Clickbank) Online Business - You can start a website from scratch and sell a physical product online promising delivery. The problem with this is you must storage space for your products. Ebay / Amazon business - You can sell products, both digital and physical, on auction sites like these. MLM/Network Marketing - You can join online MLM/Network coys. There will be a new company "Online Education" scheme that most probably will be promoted to you guys soon after its launch in Mid June. Everybody wants to sell their product and increase sales, so it will be a win win situation for merchants to start affiliate program to leverage publisher to promote their product for free to earn some commission. Affiliate programs pays you by the result of your work. If you can show result and bring in lots of sales, then this is the program you must join because you do not need capital to start this business. All you need to do is to promote it for free, show results and earn some big money. Some bog affiliate on the internet includes ClickBank, Commission Junction, LinkShare and many more. The product can range from E-books, Dating, Casino, Surveys and many more. Blogs - Start your very own blog and website. When the traffic start to build up, the money start to run in. Use Social Bookmark like http://www.Digg.com, http://www.StumbleUpon.com and http://www.Linksmarker.com to build quality traffic. There are many ways to make money online. What is important is that you love what you are doing and you will stay focus. Here are some ways to make money online: 1. Sell on auction sites like E-bay. You can start with no capital at all by selling your old stuff which is still in good condition. If you have slightly used designer bags, shoes, watches and clothes many will bid for it. Antiques, collector items and jewelries are also best sellers. 2. Offer online tutoring. Math and English (in non-English speaking countries) are the most common subjects requested. You can charge $10-40 per hour. All you need is PC, internet connection and electronic whiteboard of messenger softwares (like Yahoo and MSN). 3. Be a Virtual Assistant. You must know how to type. Some contractor would require knowledge in Excel, basic HTML, researching, proof-reading nd telecommunting skills. 4. If you love to write, you can have many options. You can write an e-book and offer affilliate commissions through Clickbank or Amazon. Or write articles and website contents for website owners. You can publish and e-zine, build a mailing list, and offer advertisment contracts to advertisers. 5. Build a money-making website. Let's face it, website owners of MLM, HYIP, cycler, surf, PTC and other money-making sites are raking the most profit. First a little info. "online" as the request says, is in itself a world of it's own. This is a VERY important concept to grasp BEFORE you even consider 5 ways to make money through it. At some point a person must come to realize that in today’s life there exist two worlds.
1) The real life physical world in which we live and breathe.
2) The internet, or "online" world. As time continues to pass by, the online world is becoming as real as the physical world itself.
When a person comes to understand this, and comprehend this on a "real" level, this, in and of itself opens your mind to new ways of making money online.
1) Start a hosting company
Lets start with the foundation of the internet or the "online" world. The internet and everything we know about it would not exist without Hosting Companies. Hosting companies are what allow you to use a server to display content on the World Wide Web (WWW). This in and of itself is in the "most demand" right now. You can make money by starting up a hosting company and selling web SPACE. In other words you can sale server space for people to build and control their own websites...so that THEY can make money online.
2) Become a Reseller
In the natural flow of things, the next opportunity to make an income online is through what is called "reselling". This ties right into web hosting (the first way I have listed for making money online). If you can not afford the $5K to 20K to set up a REAL web hosting company, you can then choose a less efficient way of making money through web hosting. It is called becoming a reseller. IN this case you would not OWN the actual server, but you would be given space within a server that someone else owns and be given the right to sale as much space as you want to others. There are limits on this, yet if you can afford to own your own server and such, this is a better option to "get you started" until you CAN afford your own.
After you move away from the foundation of the online world, you move into the world itself. You can purchase some web space on a server (buy a domain name) and then set up your own Website; from here we have further options as to how a person can make an income.
3) Selling products, information, or some other substance
After you own a website you can the use this site to do whatever you want. One of the ways of making money is selling something you own. For instance, maybe you knowledgeable about building websites. You can put everything you know about it on your site, and sale the information to others from your site. Now this is not a FAST way of making money, but it never will be fast until people KNOW about your site....that takes time energy and effort. None the less, you can sale information, a physical product, data, leads, and so forth, so "selling" stuff is another way.
4) Selling other peoples stuff and earning a commission: Affiliate
If you are not sure about how to go about selling stuff you have or "know", then another option would be to sell something someone else is selling, and make a commission for it. This is known as being an affiliate to that company. Here you do not do the work, or produce the product, you simply share what they are selling or offering with others and you earn an income based on what you sale, and how much of it you sale...no website needed....but would be beneficial.
5) mlm companies. Yet another way of making an income is by joining an online mlm company. Here you are compensated for the "work" that you do. You go out and you sale whatever the company is selling, but here you have a second option. You can recruit others below you to help you sale that same product, making you the CEO of your own company only limited by the time energy and effort that YOU put into your team. Your goal here should never be to "make money off of others", but rather to teach others how to make money off of the efforts of others.
6) Gamming.
WOOAAA! Did I just say gaming? This is the biggest market there is..IN THE WORLD!. In today’s modern day gaming, you interact in a "world" with other people. You no longer "play by yourself" or "play with those around you". No, today you play in a "world" with hundreds, even tens of thousands of others. The neat part is that in a lot of the games, you not only "play" the game, but you can sale stuff you find in the
games online. In other words lets say you have earned 400 plat ($400..known as platinum in the gaming world..usually). You go online, to your website and sale this plat to others who play the game...this market, that not only includes the game money that you make, but furniture, trade skill stuff that you make, and also equipment for your character is an industry that sits at about 60 million a month....you can tap into this to make an income online
7) PPC
Everyone online knows what this is...you pay for every person who clicks on your link.....so you can setup a PPC for yourself and charge others for every click they receive to their banner or ad from your site.
8) Donations.
BELIEVE this or NOT, you can make money through donations. Perhaps you don't want to "charge" people for your info! A lot of people don't...they are giving. So what these types of people can do "online" is setup a donations box. Here you can make an income based on people liking the info or service you provide and just want to help YOU make it better...it's not a great way to make an income...but none the less there are people out there clearing well over $100,000 (usd) a year with this! Do your research.
9) PRMOTING YOU.
I skipped about 20 ideas to jump to this one and one other. If you ever learn to PROMOTE YOU, then your website no longer matters. When you promote you, people will follow you, and they will join you in whatever you do. There is nothing more important then YOU, yourself. When it comes to ways of making money online, the simple truth is, you are NOT going to make much money, UNTIL people trust YOU....yea you can make "some money", and even "decent" money, but you will never make serious money until you start promoting you over anything else. Your website and your products are worthless if people do not trust you, or at least convinced enough to trust you enough to get what you offer....promoting you is the #1 way to make money online...or in the real world...always will be...no matter what the future holds.
10) Move your business online..... Move what you do offline to online.
If you own a business, or are a partner in a business, or are planning to start your own business offline, you should also put that same business online. I talk to major companies on a weekly basis, and let me tell you that the recent trend is that more and more business in the real world are starting to make more money online then they are from the real physical world "store" that they own. Taking something that you do in the real world, and bringing it online can make you a fortune....think GLOBAL here. In the physical world you are limited to your local area, or your local country...take what you do offline and place it online, and you now have a global market....powerful.
11 - 70 ...you only wanted 5.
The point is that if you sit down and just "think" there are limitless amounts of ways to make an income online. Making money online is not hard at all...the hard part is getting yourself to overcome yourself. That is a golden nugget, but several of you may never "get it"....but hopefully you do. The only REAL thing that limits a person is the way a person "thinks"...if you think there are only a few ways to make money...then that is all you will ever see..those few ways. If you KNOW there are millions of ways, then you will find the millions of ways...while making money, work on "you" and you will have far greater success then 95% of the people out there who are struggling with making an income online.
