I have never had any trouble with BetRiskFree's website, and I know that Khalak has been receiving the occasional alert, so I am not sure what has happened to you Cooperplacer. Are you sure you aren't talking abour RiskFreeBets? Just verify the service you are talking about for me. I can email the owner of BetRiskFree (and regularly do) and get this sorted out for you if you are talking about the correct service. RiskFreeBets on the other hand, I have never been able to make any sort of contact with.
Croz, you are right with your concern. If you follow the sort of approach I, and most other SBP members take, then the email services don't work well with us. One of the next additions I plan on adding to SAG will be amore thorough 'how to trade' tutorial, and i have realised that there seem to be two approaches. The approach you and I take where we have money in our selected bookmakers, and we leave that money there, waiting for an arb to be found between them. The second approach is one where you register to every bookmaker you can, then wait for an email alert service (or manually find arbs yourself). Upon finding one of these arbs you then deposit max bet volume via credit card and place the bets. As soon as one side wins, you withdraw.
Each version of trading has its own advantages and disadvantages. In the first case you can place the arb much faster and you know your money won't be subject to fees etc because your deposits and withdrawals are well considered and thought through before you enact them. In the second case the advantage is that you don't need a large bankroll to start trading because you can trade on credit, constantly paying the credit back before you ever have to pay interest on it. You can also trade the maximum volume on each trade, rather than being restricted to whatever funds you ahve available at the time.
I should give the email alert system a try out, see if I can make money with it or not, and see how it performs compared to the real time software arb services....

Shane,
thank you for your kind offer to email the owner of BetRiskFree (I confirm it is this service not RiskBetFree). Since my last post I have now received some email alerts from BetRiskFree, so this is a BIG improvement on the earlier situation. However I still have not a reply to my emails to BetRiskFree about their website. I'll be watching their site with interest and will report again.
