A Highly Effective Natural Cure for the Flu
Source: www.truehealth.org/influenz.html

a natural cure for the flu To make the unbearable tragedy of healthy children dying from influenza even more bitter, these deaths could have been prevented ever so easily. None of the children should even have been sick with the flu. The culprit is our daily food, and our simplistic chemical agriculture which grows our daily food.
Here then is the cause - as described extensively in these pages [see links at left] - as well as the supremely effective remedy and, more importantly, complete prevention of the flu.
All of Nature uses the 84 common elements in all living things, including 72 trace elements. Our simplistic agriculture monitors and maintains only a paltry 8 (yes - only eight!!!!) trace elements in its soils, hence in all of its products - and hence again, in practically all of our daily food. Consequently, over 60 crucially vital trace elements have became either severely deficient or exhausted in our agricultural soils, and hence, in our daily food.
This massive deficiency of so many vitally important trace elements in our daily food is the cause of a whole raft of diseases, beginning with many cancers, most 'incurable' and chronic disease, all auto-immune diseases, as well as the flu.
If we had the complete range of the 72 natural trace elements in our daily food, we would not even get sick with the flu. Our immune system would defeat the influenza virus completely and effectively, and we would not even notice. To whit, my own dramatic experience - the trigger which eventually led to a powerful breakthrough discovery and over 20 years of independent health research.
Total Natural Immunity To the Flu
It was 1972, and the only job I could find where we lived on Vancouver Island at the time was spacing trees for a lumber company in the rugged Iron Mountains of Vancouver Island. It was just before Thanksgiving, and to get paid for the legal holiday we had to work the days before and after the holiday. There were only two catches; it was raining so hard that I would not have been surprised to find little fish and tiny crabs in the Pacific downpour - and everyone, except for me, had come down with the flu.
Naturally, everyone showed up anyway, and as soon as our foreman left for the day, everybody piled into the "crummy". And there we sat all day, eight people, seven of them sniffing and shivering with the fever and misery of the flu, crammed like sardines in the cold enclosure on the back of a pick-up truck, listening to the Pacific Ocean coming down on the roof. The misery was total.
Altogether, I spent at least 2 days before, and another two days after the holiday in day-long crammed face-to-face contact with my wheezing, sneezing, aching and feverish buddies, since no one was allowed to go into the woods alone. But, and incomprehensibly, I did not get the flu. This was truly amazing since I usually was among the first to catch the flu.
There was an obvious reason though. It had been hot and dry for most of the month before (our Canadian) Thanksgiving, and I could not bear to drink the warm, rubber-tasting water from the rubber-lined canvas bags on our belts. It was awful. Instead, I had discovered that the blue huckleberries which grew here and there were, although a bit on the tart side, an excellent, cool and very refreshing alternative to the warm rubber water. So, whenever I encountered a bush, I collected and ate a handful of huckleberries. This earned me the nickname "Huckleberry Pete". Since I was the only one who ate the berries, and also the only one who did not get the flu - despite my long and close exposure - the conclusion was obvious. There was a powerful and almost magic elixir in the wild berries which protected me, of all people, from the flu. Needless to say, from then on I heartily advocated wild huckleberries to my family, friends and acquaintances for almost any ailment. As I found out about 5 years later, I was right.
No, no - it's not the wild huckleberries as such, and you don't have to go into the woods and collect wild huckleberries, although you can, if you wish. It's the complete natural range of the 72 trace elements in the wild (only not cultivated!) huckleberries. So, any wild, uncultivated food will have the same supremely powerful immune effects.
Meanwhile however, the only readily available food in the supermarkets which still contains the complete natural range of the 72 trace elements is seafood - any kind of food from the sea. And a daily serving of at least 4 ounces of any kind of seafood (as now recommended by the DPA) will provide our bodies with the complete range of the 72 natural nutritional trace elements. And like the wild huckleberries, it will protect us completely from the flu. You won't even get colds. I haven't had a cold since 1985, ever since all the pieces had fallen into place and the whole picture was revealed.
It will take about 3 months of the daily seafood routine before our bodies are completely 'topped up' with the 72 natural trace elements in all cells and systems. However, the body appears to know where those 72 trace elements are needed most, and will allocate them accordingly. So, and meanwhile, you might come down with the symptoms of the flu in the evening, but upon waking up the next morning, there will be no trace of the flu. None; zero; zilch. As if it never happened.
And once your system is 'topped up' with the 72 natural trace elements, you'll be completely immune to the flu. You won't even notice when you've been infected.
There is only one note of caution regarding the daily seafood routine - and it has to be daily in order to work. The latest findings are that tuna fish appears to be highly contaminated with mercury. So, avoid tuna fish.
Further along these lines. The influenza virus is a "corona" virus - and so are the common cold, herpes, and SARS viruses; they all belong to the same virus 'family'. The same story as told here applies to these viruses as well. One powerful proof is that all of the vendors of the Chinese 'bush game' , which harbours the SARS virus, are infected with the virus but are totally immune. This echoes the fact that many SARS infected people were totally immune, others had a mild 'flu', some had a severe flu and recovered, and some died. This picture nicely reflects variations in nutrition - chief among them the frequency of seafood in their nutrition.
There are also innumerable indications that the 72 natural trace elements in our daily nutrition are supremely effective against all viruses.
Notwithstanding, and however effective the daily seafood routine is against a whole host of diseases - from many cancers, 'incurable', chronic and auto-immune diseases to the common cold and allergies - it is only a stop-gap measure. There simply isn't enough seafood anymore to provide everyone with their daily serving of seafood. Besides, the daily seafood routine soon becomes a bit tiresome.
The only valid long term solution is to re-establish the complete natural range of the 72 trace elements in all our agricultural soils, so that these 72 crucially vital trace elements are present in all of our food.
Meanwhile, you can lay the blame for the deaths of your children from something as easily prevented as the flu (also from cancer, leukemia, diabetes, asf.) squarely into the lap of our simplistic chemical agriculture, and to the ignorant hubris of the biomedical sciences which have dismissed the over 60 vital trace elements out of hand - despite overwhelming indications to the contrary (all living things and natural soils contain them) - as unimportant and of no value to our bodies. Worse, they've done this solely, and without any investigation whatsoever, just because of the small amounts - typically 1 part per million - involved. They thought that these "trace" amounts could not possibly be of any importance - and this totally wrong notion has become biomedical dogma.
Meanwhile, we are now beginning to die like flies from more and more macabre diseases - and now even something as minor as a flu - and far too many of our children are now born with physical and mental defects.
But don't hope to see the 72 trace elements in our agriculture anytime soon (although this could be easily accomplished); nor a pharmaceutical supplement of the complete range of the 72 natural trace elements.
This would reduce the incidence of a wide range of diseases dramatically (about 80% of diseases would disappear), followed by a massive drop (at least 50%), in national medical expenditures. As you can image, a 50% reduction in the national health care budget would put about 50% of our medical industry and infrastructure out of business. And this won't happen anytime soon.
