Top 7 Free Ways to Get More Traffic to Your Website
1. Add More Listings - Get Free Exposure on Real Estate Search Websites. One of the major ways of getting more free traffic to your website is by posting more home listings on your Z57 website. This is because all your listings get free exposure on popular real estate search websites like Oodle, Trulia, Propsmart, Edgeio, Vast and LiveDeal, all of which generate our clients thousands of clicks per month, all for free! Make sure you don't just frame your home listings into your website, doing this doesn't get you this exposure - use the listings manager in your MCC.
2. Craigslist/BackPage.com Postings These two websites can generate you considerable buyer traffic for your home listings. All you have to do is look on either of these major websites and look for your nearest major city's version and make posts for your individual home listings (and make sure your post has a link to the listing on your website). Even if your nearest major city listed on there is an hour away, it's worth posting your individual home listings in that area to gain qualified traffic. www.Craigslist.org www.BackPage.com
3. Create Content/Start Blogging A great way to get good rankings in the search engines and thus more free traffic is to create your own content. The more search engine friendly content you have, the more traffic you will generate. A great way to take advantage of this is by making use of your custom pages to build special promotion pages, or featured local resources and interview pages, and build your keyword phrases into them as much as possible. Blogging is also a great simple way of creating new content, which is great for search engine content and also very useful community resource for clients - it turns you into an expert and is great for driving repeat traffic. Here are some examples of good real estate blogs: www.mirealestate.wordpress.com www.raincityguide.com
4. Build up Your Link Popularity It's no longer good enough to simply exchange links with other real estate agent's websites. You need to get popular websites to link to your website. This not only gets you visits from these websites, but more importantly improves your search rankings in Google because of their page ranking (PR) system. Try and look for popular business websites in similar industries, like mortgage and appraisal websites. If you download the Google search toolbar, you can see PR ratings for websites. Avoid links from 0 or 1 PR rated websites - the PR is a ranking out of 10, so look for 4s, 5s and 6s for best chance of success. For more information about how to do this, please talk to your Account Manager. www.google.com/support/]http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?answer=34432
5. Tie Your Offline Marketing to Your Online Efforts All your offline efforts like bench ads, voicemail recordings and newspaper ads should all make sure they mention your URL and have a good call to action that will want to make them visit your website. This is a simple one, but we see many real estate agents forgetting this basic step. You are wasting money on your offline efforts if you don't direct them to your website with a call to action like 'get home search listings via email'.
6. Get a MySpace Profile and Start Networking! MySpace.com isn't just for teenagers anymore - more and more Realtors are using this as a great way of networking with local businesses and potential clients. After all, the more exposure your website and brand gets, the more traffic and business you will generate - and MySpace is a perfect vehicle for this. It also gives your business the 'cool' factor with younger audiences. MySpace is one of the biggest websites on the Internet right now - why would you ignore it and the great networking it can do for your business? www.myspace.com/finecoastal www.sundaymorningtalk.com/2006/10/20/selling-your-space-on-myspace/
7. Make Sure Your URL is Always in Your Email! Lastly, another simple but often neglected one - emails. Don't forget to put your URL in your email footer, with a good call to action to get people to your website! Don't only put your URL either - give them a reason why they should come to your website. This can drive tremendous traffic to your website for free.
Some of these 7 methods may seem obvious, but if you are ignoring any of these, you are definitely missing important pieces of the 'how do I get free website traffic' puzzle. If you wish to learn more about any of these 7 methods and how to make most effective use of them, please contact your Account Manager.

5 Best Ways To Get Traffic to Your Website for FREE! By Michael Goodchild
Quite often the best ways to get traffic to your website are the free ways. You can get some serious amounts of traffic for free or very little cost. The real power in generating your own traffic is in the fact that you are in complete control of it quite often allowing you to choose more accurately who to target therefore generating higher conversion rates. People quite often overlook these methods and there are some real gems. Below I will outline the 5 best ways to get traffic to your website for FREE:-
1. People are spending more time watching video's online than doing anything else online. Video marketing is huge it's not all about YouTube although obviously YouTube by itself is massive but there are also loads of site that you can upload your videos to including Google, Myspace, Yahoo, MSN and AOL. It is not that hard to do and you can download some screen capture software for free. Although if you wish to get serious about Video marketing then some investment in software will improve the look and feel of your videos.
2. Searh Engine Optimisation (SEO)' I know its obvious but it's probably the best way of getting more traffic for your website. The three most important things to consider are:-
2.1. Choice of keywords - Most people choose keywords that there is too much competition for and do not give themselves a chance of getting to the top of the rankings.
2.2. Content - You need to have loads of relevant content that you update frequently to make sure that the search engines see your site as a current one.
2.3. Links - Not the quantity but the quality. You need one way links that are relevant and from other sites with high rankings for similar keywords. The best way to look at SEO is to try and look at it from the search engines point of view. When somebody does a search they want the best results to be displayed (if a load of irrelevant sites with no real content ie spam sites are listed then its not a very good search engine)
3. Articles and Press Releases just like the one that you are reading here are great for generating free traffic for several reasons:-
3.1. You will get high quality one way links from the article directories that you submit to right back to your site. So they are great for SEO. Imaging if you write 2 articles per week and get them published on 10 sites you will be adding roughly 80 high quality one way links to your site per month or just under a 1,000 in a year.
3.2. If you do some keyword research then your articles will very likely get good rankings in the search engines and be found that way.
3.3. People just browsing the article directories find your article and read it.
3.4. The best thing that can happen is an Ezine or magazine can choose to publish your article including the resource box with the link back to your website in it. Some magazines and Ezines have hugh readerships and your article can go out to the whole list generating massive traffic for FREE.
4. Harnessing the power of web2.0. Write a review or a short description about a page on your website that you wish to promote and then submit the review to the social sites. There are loads of the including, Digg, Furl, Stumble Upon, Reddit and Propeller to name a few. Using this method you again generate those one way links from high ranking sites so its great for SEO and people can find the link when browsing these social sites and click through on the link to have a look for themselves. The more interesting and intriguing your review is the more people will click through on your Link.
5. These are excellent ways to tap into highly targeted groups of people. You can also learn so much from other people in these groups or forums. Just go out and find a group or forum and start participating in the conversations and answering questions. You will have a signature file attached to each post that you make and this is where you have your link back to your site. Again building those one-way links and if you write a good signature file that is interesting people will click on those links. With this type of marketing it is best only to give responses if you know the Answer rather than just to get your link up there. It is easy to loose credibility and be seen as a spamer if you are not careful.
The most important thing to do now you have some knowledge is to Take Action without it you will not get any Free Traffic. It's best to focus on one way of getting traffic and get good at that before moving on to the next. So good luck and above all enjoy what you are doing.

Want to build Free traffic on the internet? Well, it isn't hard but it takes alot of time and serious effort!
Here i will share some of the great tips!
1.) Lend a helping hand: you can be an answer person at money making forums like dreamteammoney – you don't have to spend hours on there, but maybe a few minutes a week. Make sure and include a link back to your site following your answers.
2.) Use your forum signature, when you post, your signature will be shown to hundreds sometime even thousands of visitors depeding on how hot your topic is!
3.) Write articles: believe it or not this is an incredible tool for driving traffic. Well-written, relevant articles can net quite a bit of activity to your web site. Don't forget to add your URL in your byline. Articles should be 500 to 2,000 words in length. You can send articles to sites like: Article City, GoArticles, Submit Your Articles and Ezine Articles.
4.) Social bookmark *everything* - and I do mean everything - you can bookmark each page of your site and each blog entry you post. While this might seem tedious, it's worth it. You'll see a strong increase in traffic if you social bookmark each page on your site and each of your blog entries. Some of the good ones are Stumleupon.com, Del.icio.us, Reddit.com, Furl.net and Linksmarker.com
5.) Start a blog and then once you do, start commenting on other people's blogs, linking to them from your site or adding them to your blogroll.
6.) And speaking of your email signature line... do you have one? If you don't, create one. Believe it or not, people do follow these links. You'll be amazed how many folks read email signature lines. I have one and change it several times a year, depending on what we're doing or promoting or what books I have coming out.
7.) Set up a social networking site using Facebook, DreamTeamMoney, or Squidoo. It's free and easy to do, just don't forget the all-important link back to your site!
8.) Make sure your blog has an RSS feed so if you capture a reader you don't lose them if they forget to bookmark your site or blog.
9.) Start an email newsletter: while it may not seem like a newsletter that you email can drive traffic to your site you'd be surprised at the effectiveness of this type of promotion. If your newsletter (like your articles) is interesting and relevant to your audience, you'll find that it has a huge pass-through factor, meaning that it is passed from one email subscriber to another. Also, if you have an email newsletter you should never, ever go to a single event without your handy signup sheet. Yes, you can even use offline events to drive traffic to your web site.
An example of this might be an email newsletter. A helpful, informative newsletter is a fantastic funnel. A blog is another great way to keep people in your marketing loop without bombarding them with "please buy my stuff" email messages. Also, make sure you know what your traffic numbers are before you launch into any Internet marketing campaign. By traffic numbers I mean how many people are visiting your site. You want to know this so you can gauge a before and after view of your marketing efforts.

How do you Build Free Traffic on the Internet?
Traffic Exchangers
One of the most direct and labor intensive methods to promote a website with free traffic are traffic exchanges. A traffic exchange is a website where you view other people's sites to gain credits to show your own. It is best to only use the most effective ones and use a traffic builder to refer people into many exchanges at one time and to increase your own traffic. A really great builder for traffic exchanges is called traffic hoopla. They only use the top 20 exchanges which they test every week, so it is a great place to get started.
Video Marketing
Video is exploding on the net and people respond to a quick, clever video very well. Plus this free traffic method requires very little effort. once it is up, it will continue to drive free traffic to promote your site. If you have a digital camera or cell phone that will take video, you don't even need to get a web cam. In addition to sites like youtube.com and revver.com you can do a google search for "video website" or "video hosting" and literally find dozens of places to host your video for free. Just be sure to include a link to your site in the video or description box and use keywords that you think people interested in your product or service would search for.
Social Networks
Social networks are a great method to promote a website with free traffic. You can easily set up a page on myspace.com or facebook.com. But there are also many other variations out there. And if you are going to use this method, you need to be active about acquiring "friends" or contacts.
Blogging
Blogs are web pages where people talk about things that interest them. You can set one up for free at blogger.com. Blogs are very search engine friendly and if you optimize one for a specific keyword (use it in the title, description, and throughout each article) you should be able to get listed in search engines, like google very quickly.
Squidoo.com is another kind of site similar to a blog, where you can set up a page for free and use it for anything you want.
Submitting Classified Ads Or Directories
Craigslist is a very useful place to promote a website. Posting on Craigslist has become a science and if you want to get serious about it you will have to invest some money. That said, you can also put up 20-40 ads a day that will bring you leads and sales if you are consistent. Just remember to post no more than 5-10 using the same email address.
Forum Marketing
You must be aware that you have to intelligently contribute to the specific post or topic. If you simply promote your website, you will be banned. What you need to do is place the url of the website you want to get free traffic for in a signature when you set up your forum account. That way when you respond to what has already been posted the signature (with your link) will be displayed below every single one of your posts. Forum traffic is highly targeted and usually converts very well!

INCREASE TRAFFIC TO YOUR WEBSITE-11 EFFECTIVE WAYS PLUS 50 TIPS
I'm sure you have many questions going through your head when considering any prospective online business. And I'd bet that a few of the biggest, if not the biggest, would be:
If I do sign up and pay this money how am I going to get people to come to my website and see this opportunity? What if I do this and I can't get anyone to come to my website? If I can't get anyone to come to my website, which I have no idea how to do, then I have just "wasted" my money - so what's the point?
Am I right? Not to sound egotistical, but I am, aren't I? I know because I asked and said the same things to myself at first.
Well let me tell you my friend, there is a point, a very big point.
Money - yep, there, I said it, money; the thing that drives us to do what we do. We do it for ourselves and for our families and for the "glory" of saying - yeah me, I earned it myself! From all of my struggling and hard work and perseverance, I did it!
Of course you are probably still thinking, ok that's great, but again, if I can't get anyone to come to my website - what's the point?
Which brings us to our subject - TRAFFIC.
What is traffic? Simply put - on the internet traffic is the flow of visitors that come and take a look at a website.
There are so many ways and places to generate traffic on the internet that it would be totally impossible to list them all.
The possibilities are endless. With the right knowledge and resources you can generate huge amounts of traffic to your website to keep you in profit for a long time to come.
Below I have listed some of the different avenues of getting traffic to your website. Most of them are very inexpensive, and some of the best ways of all don't cost a thing. That's right, FREE!
1. Article Marketing
When it comes to getting a tremendous amount of high quality targeted traffic for free, Article Marketing is hands-down one of the most powerful strategies to use.
Writing articles and getting your articles posted in popular online article directories is the basic strategy here, and it does wonders for your credibility.
In addition, at the bottom of all of your articles you'll always include your signature file with your name and website address link. Every time someone reads your articles then clicks on your links, you just created another pathway of link exposure to your website.
2. Blogging
The term blog is a short term for Web Log, and it describes a certain type of website surfacing across the internet for the last several years.
What separates a blog from other websites is its highly interactive nature.
An extremely powerful benefit in utilizing a blog for traffic generation involves the connection between keyword-rich, content-based blogs and attaining high rankings in search engines? Obviously getting your website to the top spot of a frequently searched keyword or key phrase will result in massive targeted traffic for your website on a daily basis!
Your blog should be keyword rich.
Your blog should have relevant content.
Your blog should include frequently updated RSS feeds on other websites such as Google, Yahoo, and MSN home pages.
3. Email Marketing
Do not SPAM. If you're unsure of what spam is go to Can Spam Act (FTC) prior to doing any email marketing and make sure that if you use a service that they are Can Spam Compliant.
Email Marketing can be very effective. Word to the wise, be very careful how you go about doing this. If you're renting a list, never send traffic to your company provided website but to a Lead Capture Page. Always make sure that you are following the rules. It is up to you to do your homework prior to doing this type of marketing. Make sure that what you do is permission based and to folks who are interested in what you are promoting.
If you are email marketing via an autoresponder from people opting-in to your website use a reputable autoresponder company. Building a list is where the money is!
4. Ezines
The most basic definition describes an ezine as simply an online magazine or an electronic magazine. Others describe ezines as magazines that can be created and distributed electronically.
The best part about ezines and e-newsletters is the fact that they are free! You don't have to spend a single penny on ezines and e-newsletters if you don't want to.
The content is usually beneficial to you because of the massive amount of targeted marketing that ezine publishers accomplish for their subscribers.
Ezines deliver incredible targeted traffic to your prospect audience due to the ease, convenience and cost-effectiveness of an ezine. Almost every Ezine that I have come across was free!
However, there are many ezines out there that do charge a minimal price depending on placement of your ad.
5. Online Classifieds
An online classified ad is just like a classified ad in a newspaper, except they are, well, online. The ad is usually two or three lines of text with a link to your website.
There are hundreds of free online classified sites. Just do a search and you will find numerous choices.
6. Banner Advertising
Banner advertising online is almost like classified advertising except instead of text for your ad you use a banner which is usually a colorful 'box' that you put on a classified or other site. It usually has a logo or picture of whatever company you are promoting. When a person clicks on the banner they are taken straight to your website.
7. Press Releases
A Press Release forms the very beginning of a public relations campaign. In the offline world, press releases are submitted to radio stations, TV stations, news reporters, broadcast journalists, etc. They are always looking for a great story to publicize.
Getting your press release published due to its appealing and compelling content is a great way to get free publicity to your company, offer, and website!
There are many places online that offer press release services.
8. SEO
SEO is an acronym for Search Engine Optimization. Basically this means to optimize your website to the best possible way for the search engines to find you.
Three main driving factors conducive to ranking high among search engine keyword searches are:
a. Maintaining High-Quality Relevant Content For A Particular Subject Matter.
The best way to ensure high quality content on your site is to make sure that the content is specifically related to the subject matter of your website.
b. Link Popularity.
In effective SEO, your link popularity is usually one of the largest determining factors of the overall spread of your website. The more your link popularity increases, the more exposure your website will have.
c. Having The Correct And Effective Keywords.
Keywords are words which relate to your website, article, or blog that search engines pick up on and they drive traffic to your site based on the specific keywords. Having the right keywords can make a huge difference in the rank of your site.
9. Video Marketing
Video marketing is everywhere anymore. More and more people are utilizing the power of video marketing on their website, in emails, and in online sites like YouTube. The possibilities are endless. To see and hear someone tell you about something is a very powerful marketing strategy.
10. Viral Marketing
Viral Marketing is a buzz term that refers to the promotion of a company's message by promoting their products or services "like a virus".
For example, we didn't even see that we had already been using viral marketing from when we were first introduced to a free email service called Hotmail. As we started using it, other people were getting emails sent to them from Hotmail and started using the service themselves!
What's more, it kept growing and growing and growing and growing.
I noticed that almost all of my co-workers, friends, and family were all talking about this free Hotmail email, and this was happening all over the entire world.
So the bottom line here is:
Take Advantage Of The Power Of Viral Marketing!!
There are numerous sites all over the web offering viral marketing. Just do a search.
11. Pay Per Click
Pay Per Click is an advertising technique used on websites, advertising networks, and search engines.
This one can cost you some money depending on a lot of factors, the first being it depends on which keyword(s) you use and how many people click on your ad.
Advertisers bid on keywords that they believe their target market (people they think would be interested in their offer) would type in the search bar when they are looking for a certain type of product or service.
For example, if an advertiser sells blue blankets, he or she would bid on the keyword "blue blankets", hoping a user would type those words in the search bar, see their ad, click on it, and buy. These ads are called "sponsored links" or "sponsored ads" and appear next to and sometimes above the natural or "organic" results on the search page. The advertiser pays only when the user clicks on the ad.
The key to PPC marketing is to start out small and test. If you start getting the desired results then gradually increase your daily budget because you have a winner. If not, then look at your campaign and tweak your ad copy, your cost per click and your keywords.
If you take advantage of all the wonderful resources that are available for you to use online, along with the right mindset and human willpower, you can't help but be successful!
If you would like, by following the link below, you can take a look at one of my businesses in which I have been very successful using the above ways to increase traffic.

How do you Build Free Traffic on the Internet?
1. Social Media Social presence marketing is the activity of advertising or promotiong your products, services and brands by inserting your social presence in the pre-existing conversation around your target market, in a way that enhances and uplifts the dialogue, rather than intruding upon it.
2. Article Marketing & Blogging Article Marketing works for those who use it properly and not just as a links booster. Were getting really close to the other side of the hype machine, where most people are realizing the hidden benefits of having a regular pace of marketing with articles, in a myriad of publications
For Blogging, If you post at the right time of day for your site, you may see as many as 100 visitors come to your blog in its first day, due to a new blog post, just from pinging. You can see more than that if you let your existing traffic know about your blog.
3. Forums/ Discussion Boards/ Groups Forums are a great way to market and increase your traffic by heightening participation and interaction. Ive had three very successful forum-based sites, and one that I would call unsuccessful. Here are some tips I learned from both my successes and mistakes.
Join Google Groups as a communication tool is plenty fun and useful as is. You get a bit of a traffic boost as well like this way :
- Join : Join Google Groups then Join discussions. The Google Groups experience is similar to participating in forums, but it's not exactly the same thing.
- Participate : Get to know other people. Start a group of your own in an area tha has needed and invite people you know.
- Leave a link in your signature at where appropriate : In some Google Groups, such as those set up for article distribution, you will be encouraged to leave your link. In others, you may be specifically asked not to do so. Learn the rules of each group and abide by them.
- Fill out your profile : This is new at Google Groups. There are has a space where you can talk about yourself, and put your web link. No matter how restrictive the group is about web links, no one can keep you from putting your link in your profile.
- Find Groups that are made for promotion and networking
- Identify Your Fellow Power Users
- Stealth Study : Put some creative thought behind it, and it will give you priceless insight into what your potential clients want. It might even help you decide what your next product’s focus should be.
4. Web Video Video is purely a before or after activity when our prospect is turning into a buyer, unless we have a video to walk them through ordering or some such thing. But Now you can take two methods of advantage of the viral video trend.
Basically had two ideas :
a. Use humorous videos that you didnt create to enhance your content. b. Make how-to videos
or you also can use You tube for add and promote your site to get More traffic.

18.0 Create a loud but gentle noise. Join the controversy of Britney Spears and the like, but do not use hurting words. Most bloggers are women and parents as well.
19.0 Ask a non-blogging friend to visit your site. It will help you know how newbies identify whether your blog is good to see for the first time or not.

Hm... I'll answer it simple coz my English vocab is so simple
I'm talking about increasing blog traffic with free service guys...
1. I build my blog to have a targeted keyword and targeted visitor/region (content is the king) 2. I submit my blog to search engine and web/blog directory (just the major site) 3. I register my blog to RSS feed burner like feedburner, feedblitz, etc 4. I ask for link exchange to other blogger and add my blog to social community like del.icio.us, technorati, mybloglog, blogcatalog, etc 5. I joining banner exchange community like entrecard, spott, blogbannerexchange, etc 6. Sometimes make a post about hot news like announcement, new policy or petition 7. I find web/blog/article submitter software and use it to submit my blog content regularly (once a week) 8. Sometimes make a contest like review my blog contest that give more linkback 9. Updated blog regularly with unique content 10. Using a plugin like physic search (WP plugin) to know what is your visitor looking for if it comes from search engine and making more post about it.
I think that 10 ways is enough to build free traffic for our blog
