If you are selling anything on the internet then it is a good idea to advertise and market your product as much as you can. Getting interest in what you have to sell is the most important thing. 3. Write an article reviewing your product.; Get someone to check the grammar and spelling to make sure it is readable. Then submit it to article directories and include a link to your web page in your author resource box.
4. If you have a mailing list, send out some promotional material in a newsletter or ezine.
5. Write a short 4 line classified ad and one line text ad which viewers can click on and get sent directly to your webpage. Then submit your ads to FFA sites, messageboards, and even include a small ad on your blogs or sites.
6. Offer a bonus and discount sales price of your product to get buyers more interested. Give them something extra, a free e book, software or anything that you think will go well with the product you are selling. Tell your readers and viewers that the product usually sells for this amount and give them a discount.
7. Add your site to social networking and bookmarking sites. Connect with other members and tell them about your product.
8. Start an online blog - You can do this very easily and write posts reviewing your products, advertise them on the main page and and keep readers interested by adding freebies and other interesting related things to your blog.
9. Exchange links with other category related websites or blogs so that your product gets more exposure. Leave comments under articles you like, with a link to your website, write comments to blog posts and leave your link. Like this other internet users with the same interests as you will see your link and may want to visit your website or blog as it has related content in it.
These are all very simple ways to advertise and market your product on the internet. It can be done for free and you do not really need any special internet knowledge to do it. Learn a few marketing and advertising tricks and you will find your website or blog gets visited by many internet users. If you do the advertising stats, for each 100 unique web site views you get you should make between 1-10 sales. It's not hard to do and if you follow these few simple techniques you should get a steady stream of visitors to your website.
