Can someone please HELP me. This forum rules are very confusing and contradictory or I am not of perfect understanding. Hence my post here.
I wish to change my login username from what it is at present to a nickname. Is it possible to do so? In the sign-up page one is asked to use one's name not a nickname. I see however that 90%+ people use a nickname. See the confusion!
Secondly, I have included an avatar for my signature and I wanted to update the same signature with a smaller one. When I try to update with the new signature I get a message "Your signature is too long" What's up guys?
I further followed a link by chocolate dreams which has been moved and also followed the instructions given to him in what to do. Guess what, I had already done exactly what the instructions said, to no avail. I even killed the entire signature and still received a board message saying, " your signature is too long." Come on moderators this is not a very nice experience for a newbie who is a member of quite a few other forums which don't give this kind of trouble when joining.
I am trying to obey all rules and I trust that this enquiry will be answered as soon as possible.
