However, while 1.2870/1.2931 zone holds, the latest rally is seen corrective. Only break above the latter would signal stronger recovery.

Euro Dollar

For the first time in 11 days the Euro reached 1.28, penetrating the resistance in yesterday�s report 1.2792, declaring that it refuses to give up. However, the rise stopped just before our target 1.2871, and the pair consolidated around 1.28 without getting very far from it, which keeps the hopes of more upside activity alive. Looking at the hourly chart, we see an obvious horizontal support at last week�s high 1.2777. The drop in the Asian session stopped only 3 pips above it, to give it more importance. If we hold above this level, the current bounce is expected to add more gains. But if broken, the Euro will gradually give up the latest gains, and will drop to 1.2676 first, and at a later time to 1.2550. On the other hand, the resistance now is at 1.2825, and if broken, then the odds of breaking 1.2871 will be enormous. In this case, we expect the Euro to continue running the show, and to target relatively high levels, such as the important Fibonacci levels at 1.2959 & 1.3047. We do hope that Tomorrow�s US jobs report will put an end to the boredom and frustration trading the Euro has brought in the last two weeks.

Support:
� 1.2777: last week�s top, Aug 27th high, and an obvious hourly support.
� 1.2676: the bottom of the rising channel on the hourly chart.
� 1.2550: the support area containing Jul 7th & 12th lows.

Resistance:
� 1.2825: Fibonacci 61.8% for the short term.
� 1.2595: Fibonacci 50% level for the drop from the 4-month high of 1.3332.
� 1.3047: Fibonacci 61.8% level for the drop from the 4-month high of 1.3332.

USD/JPY

One again, Dollar/Yen traded below the 84 level for a short while, then jumped to around 84.60 and consolidated above 84, just like it did less than 24 hours ago! This is probably just a short break, and once it is over, we expect the Yen�s strength to continue, and we believe we will see levels below 83.58 on the short term. We have noticed an ideal (Dark Cloud Cover) candle pattern on the daily chart (please refer to the attached chart), and this is a well known bearish pattern which promises more excitement as we drop lower & lower, especially after the BoJ disappointing the markets yesterday, and the �Japs� saying that they are �watching the currency movement closely�! The market has had it with such statements, the �japs� now will have to take a seat and watch the spectacular Yen show against the Dollar & the Euro. Short term support is at 84.06, if broken, we will be on the way to our long awaited target 82.25, and may be later we will test the psychological level 80.00, given enough time. On the other hand, it is hard now to imagine the Dollar beating the 84.81 resistance, but if it does, it will be violent in the face of those who believe in the Yen, and will shoot to 86.25 & may be 86.81.

Support:
� 84.06: Fibonacci 61.8% for the short term.
� 82.25: the trend line combining the monthly lows of Dec 08, Jan & Nov 09, on the weekly chart.
� 80.00: psychological level.

Resistance:
� 84.81: the falling trend line from Jun 4th top, a very important line.
� 86.25: Jul 16th low.
� 86.81: Jul 26th & 27th low.

GBP/USD

The moment the Pound broke 1.5441 on Monday, this pair has left the �neutral zone� which we said is between 1.5587 & 1.5441. Therefore, it is only logical now to expect the Pound to dive. But after more than 240 pips down from yesterday�s top, the short term correction we are seeing now is (As we said yesterday) no surprise, with a condition of staying below 1.5480. The Pound is notorious for breaking, then moving in the other direction, before moving in the right direction smoothly and strongly. And now that we have tested 1.5480, we should wait and see what will the price do with it! Breaking this important level (in case it happens) can change the outlook dramatically! Short term support is at 1.5395, which was tested earlier this morning. If broken, the Pound will continue to fall, and it will target 1.5262 & 1.5151. On the other hand, the price has challenged 1.5480 yesterday, but it dropped more than 90 pips from yesterday�s high. If we maintain trading below it, that will not change a thing. But if we break it, our negative outlook will suffer. The resistance we put our attention at is 1.5441, which is the �guardian� of 1.5480! if broken, the price will shoot up to the very important 1.5596, and the most important 1.5700.

Support:
� 1.5392: short term 61.8% Fibonacci level.
� 1.5262: Jul 5th high.
� 1.5151: Jul 20th low

Resistance:
� 1.5441: the falling trend line from yesterday�s top on intraday charts.
� 1.5596: Aug 26th high and the slowly falling trend line from Aug 16th top.
� 1.5700: Aug 16th important top.

Euro Dollar

Monday�s headline for the EURUSD was �Slowly rising, signaling weakness�, and the Euro listened, and kept on falling from the weekly open, losing more than 140 pips from yesterday�s Asian session high. And with this drop, the pair broke our support 1.2643 only to disappoint and drop less than 20 pips below it. But the surprise came yesterday just after the NY open, when the Euro bounced and jumped from its 5-day low at 1.2624, to 1.2741. This surprising jump could mean that the single currency has not given up yet, and that it will try to overcome a negative outlook. Short term resistance is at 1.2792, and breaking it will mean that it is able of achieving more games. The targets will be 1.2871 & 1.2959. The support is at 1.2684, and if broken, the drop will be resumed to the attractive 1.2550, and later to the all important 1.2432.

Support:
� 1.2684: Fibonacci 61.8% short term.
� 1.2550: the support area containing Jul 7th & 12th lows.
� 1.2432: Fibonacci 61.8% for the whole rise from 1.1875 to 1.3332.

Resistance:
� 1.2792: Fibonacci 61.8% for the drop from 1.2920.
� 1.2871: Fibonacci 38.2% level for the drop from the 4-month high of 1.3332.
� 1.2595: Fibonacci 50% level for the drop from the 4-month high of 1.3332.

USD/JPY

Dollar/Yen traded below the 84 level for a short while, then jumped to around 84.60 and consolidated above 84. This is probably just a short break, and once it is over, we expect the Yen�s strength to continue, and we believe we will see levels below 83.58 on the short term. We have noticed an ideal (Dark Cloud Cover) candle pattern on the daily chart (please refer to the attached chart), and this is a well known bearish pattern which promises more excitement as we drop lower & lower, especially after the BoJ disappointing the markets yesterday, and the �Japs� saying that they are �watching the currency movement closely�! The market has had it with such statements, the �japs� now will have to take a seat and watch the spectacular Yen show against the Dollar & the Euro. Short term support is at 84.11, if broken, we will be on the way to our long awaited target 82.50, and may be later we will test the psychological level 80.00, given enough time. On the other hand, it is hard now to imagine the Dollar beating the 84.88 resistance, But if it does, it will be violent in the face of those who believe in the Yen, and will shoot to 86.25 & may be 86.81.

Support:
� 84.11: the rising trend line from last week�s low on the hourly chart.
� 82.50: the trend line combining the monthly lows of Dec 08, Jan & Nov 09, on the weekly chart.
� 80.00: psychological level.

Resistance:
� 84.88: the falling trend line from Jun 4th top, a very important line.
� 86.25: Jul 16th low.
� 86.81: Jul 26th & 27th low.

GBP/USD

The Pound broke the support specified in yesterday�s report 1.5405, and dropped exactly as expected to reach 1.5326, which was not enough to meet our suggested target which was pips below 1.53. With this break this pair has left the �neutral zone� which we said is between 1.5587 & 1.5441. Therefore, it is only logical now to expect the Pound to dive. But after more than 240 pips down from yesterday�s top, the price is subject to a short term correction, with a condition of staying below 1.5480. The Pound is notorious for breaking, then moving in the other direction, before moving in the right direction smoothly and strongly. Short term support is at 1.5382, which we are trading just above as this report is prepared. If broken, the Pound will continue to fall, and it will target 1.5293 & 1.5224. On the other hand, we could see a correction up to 1.5480, without changing this negative outlook. But if the Pound manages to break the resistance 1.5480, our negative outlook will suffer, and the price will shoot up to the very important 1.5596, and the most important 1.5757.

Support:
� 1.5382: short term 38.2% Fibonacci level.
� 1.5293: Jul 22nd high.
� 1.5224: Jul 6th high.

Resistance:
� 1.5480: Fibonacci 61.8% for the drop from Monday�s top.
� 1.5596: Aug 26th high and the slowly falling trend line from Aug 16th top.
� 1.5757: Fibonacci 61.8% for the drop from Aug 6th major top.

West Terai, Nepal -- Before venturing to this little-traveled quadrant of Nepal, I was interested to update my research on Katmandu's massage parlors and dance bars.

About four-and-a-half years ago, I gathered an extensive account of how commercial sex is sold with young Nepalese girls in Kathmandu, especially in the tourist area of Thamel.

In shelters, I heard numerous stories from young girls trafficked from rural areas into the clubs and parlors, where they were coerced to perform sex acts with tourists and locals alike.

Each dance bar has a distinctive musical theme -- American pop, Bollywood, etc -- and while one young girl dances on stage, others sit with men at tables trying to transact for sex. If the club is busy and a man does not transact quickly enough, a bouncer tells him to make way for someone who will.

Along with physical coercion, threats against family members ensure the trafficked girls do as they are told. Small amounts of money sent to parents by the victims also pressure some to remain in sex work as long as possible.

Child labor in Bangladesh's shrimp industry

In the massage parlors, the situation remains largely the same. I am typically told there are actually no massages for sale. When I enquire what else might be for sale, the offer to see young girls in a back room quickly emerges.

At casual glance, there seemed to be fewer clubs and parlors operating in Thamel. Local colleagues told me that the police have started to crack down, and also demand higher bribes. This has pushed many establishments into less touristy areas in Kathmandu, which I intend to investigate when I return.

Beyond Kathmandu, the new insights I gained this week on forced labor in Nepal have been in west Terai, a flat agricultural area along the border with Uttar Pradesh in India.

Throughout this region, I met dozens of former Kamaiya. These are individuals caught in an ancient practice of generational debt bondage. Almost all Kamaiya belong to the lower-caste Tharu ethnic group, and almost all Kamaiya owners belong to the upper caste Brahmin group.

India's child labor problem

The essence of Kamaiya debt bondage is this -- each year Kamaiya enter a "contract" with a landowner to work a large parcel of land. In exchange, they are given a small hut and a few hundred kilograms of rice throughout the year. They receive no money and no share in the income from their work. If they need money for anything, they must borrow it and go deeper into debt. As the debt grows, the bondage is passed from one generation to the next.

The Kamaiya system was officially banned by the Nepalese government in 2000. Land, brick homes, money, economic training, and other support were promised to the Kamaiya in order to ease their transition.

Based on my observation, barely one in ten identified Kamaiya have been provided with a home. Few have received the cash, training, and other support promised.

As a result, none of the former Kamaiya I met is able to earn enough income to survive, and some have receded back into the Kamaiya system.

On the trail of human trafficking

Perhaps worse, many others have been trafficked to India for labor exploitation.

The situation of the Kamaiya demonstrates the importance of comprehensive and sustained liberation from any slave-like condition, be it a child slave in India, a sex trafficking victim in Moldova, or a labor trafficking victim in the U.S.

Just saying someone is "free" without providing ongoing human rights care and development will likely consign that individual to being re-exploited in any number of ways, especially by opportunistic human traffickers.

Despite the challenges, all former Kamaiya I met relished their new freedom.

"Now we are free!" a man named "Janat" declared, "No one can ever tell us what to do."

Goldman: Google Voice About Facebook, Not Telcos

The investment bank's analysts think that the phone service in Gmail isn't about the smaller Skype picture, it is about social networking and taking on Facebook.

In a note to investors today, Goldman Sachs analyst James Mitchell says that Google's VoIP move will beef up its Social Networking status, rather than put it in a position to becoming a virtual telco. Verizon (VZ) and Google are very chummy these days so the move was likely discussed alongside the recent net neutrality negotiations.

Goldman anticipates that Google (GOOG) will be paying the telcos something in the neighborhood of tens of millions of dollars per year in termination fees. Google will eventually recoup that cost in keeping people in Gmail for long periods of time where they will be viewing ads. Google will charge fee on international calls which should be a break even with foreign telcos.

So what is the upside for Google?
We assume Google's ulterior motive is less about disrupting the telecommunications industry (it will still pay termination fees to telcos) and more about driving engagement within Gmail and its social networking activities, to better compete with social networks such as Facebook.

The Google Voice move potentially makes Google one of the largest global VoIP providers with about 50 million US and 185 million global users. Skype, by far the largest VoIP provider globally has over 500 million users.

Google has been trying to differentiate itself from Facebook, recently by creating different levels of connections (friends/family/coworkers/etc) in its Orkut social network. Having the ability to make calls directly to friends' landlines is certainly something that would get people excited. Google already houses users' contacts' phone numbers in its Gmail contact database so the voice integration is mostly seamless.

Skype is planning an IPO later this year which is certainly impacted by Google Voice. Skype is looking to use advertising as a revenue boost, something Google knows more than anyone about.
Goldman sees the implications as marginal at this point:
We maintain our DCF and P/E to normalized growth 6-month price target of
$600 on Google shares, equivalent to 18X 2011E EPS. Key risks include:
slower revenue growth on tougher comps; lower margins on revenue mix
shifts; competition from Microsoft, Apple and Facebook.

Attitude Is Everything

Jerry was the kind of guy you love to hate. He was always in a good mood and always had something positive to say. When someone would ask him how he was doing, he would reply, "If I were any better, I would be twins!" He was a unique manager because he had several waiters who had followed him around from restaurant to restaurant.

The reason the waiters followed Jerry was because of his attitude. He was a natural motivator. If an employee was having a bad day, Jerry was there telling the employee how to look on the positive side of the situation.

Seeing this style really made me curious, so one day I went up to Jerry and asked him, "I don't get it! You can't be a positive person all of the time. How do you do it?"

Jerry replied, "Each morning I wake up and say to myself, Jerry, you have two choices today. You can choose to be in a good mood or you can choose to be in a bad mood.

I choose to be in a good mood. Each time something bad happens, I can choose to be a victim or I can choose to learn from it. I choose to learn from it. Every time someone comes to me complaining, I can choose to accept their complaining or I can point out the positive side of life. I choose the positive side of life."

"Yeah, right, it's not that easy," I protested. "Yes it is," Jerry said. "Life is all about choices. When you cut away all the junk, every situation is a choice. You choose how you react to situations.

You choose how people will affect your mood. You choose to be in a good mood or bad mood. The bottom line: It's your choice how you live life."

I reflected on what Jerry said. Soon thereafter, I left the restaurant industry to start my own business. We lost touch, but often thought about him when I made a choice about life instead of reacting to it.

Several years later, I heard that Jerry did something you are never supposed to do in a restaurant business: he left the back door open one morning and was held up at gunpoint by three armed robbers.

While trying to open the safe, his hand, shaking from nervousness, slipped off the combination. The robbers panicked and shot him. Luckily, Jerry was found relatively quickly and rushed to the local trauma center.

After 18 hours of surgery and weeks of intensive care, Jerry was released from the hospital with fragments of the bullets still in his body. I saw Jerry about six months after the accident. When I asked him how he was, he replied, "If I were any better, I'd be twins. Wanna see my scars?"

I declined to see his wounds, but did ask him what had gone through his mind as the robbery took place. "The first thing that went through my mind was that I should have locked the back door," Jerry replied. "Then, as I lay on the floor, I remembered that I had two choices:

I could choose to live, or I could choose to die. I chose to live."

"Weren't you scared? Did you lose consciousness?" I asked. Jerry continued, "The paramedics were great. They kept telling me I was going to be fine. But when they wheeled me into the emergency room and I saw the expressions on the faces of the doctors and nurses, I got really scared.

I read, 'He's a dead man.' I knew I needed to take action." "What did you do?" I asked. "Well, there was a big, burly nurse shouting questions at me," said Jerry. "She asked if I was allergic to anything." "Yes," I replied.

The doctors and nurses stopped working as they waited for my reply. I took a deep breath and yelled,"Bullets!"

Over their laughter, I told them, "I am choosing to live. Operate on me as if I am alive, not dead."

Jerry lived thanks to the skill of his doctors, but also because of his amazing attitude. I learned from him that every day we have the choice to live fully.

Attitude, after all, is everything.

This is not a thought or a comment but a report of a cyber CRIME that has unfolded right in front of my eyes! I will try to make the story short! And for the sake of simplicity, I will use �he� to refer to that character in question.

A poster named thinkdifferent had been posting at MNO shout box aggressively until the day his TRUE IDENTITY was being exposed on August 21. And he literally STOPPED posting right there from that point on!

His true ID is a BLOGGER named leagao who runs a blog called flaxtalk.

This leagao character (alias thinkdifferent) is giving WEEKLY ADVICE and recommendation as what programs to invest quite specifically. The LIST of programs is changing every week.

He is telling his readers that if they join the programs under him, instead of getting referral commission back (as many other bloggers and non bloggers are doing), he is going to INVEST and make big money for them with the commissions.

Then he also invited people to invest in that PONZI of his with their fresh money. He even created a fancy name for his ponzi: Hyper-compounding to MISLEAD the inexperienced readers. He also boldly told people that he was building an empire for everyone.

I don't know what his agenda was for creating that thinkdifferent character and sending him to MNO shout box.

Thinkdifferent was even featured in leagao�s blog and they TALKED to each other complimenting each other.

The only reason for this leagao character to do that that I could think of is to promote himself via the third character. And I wonder how many thinkdifferent characters he has created for the purpose of making up his own story!

Anyway here is the EXCERPTS from thinkdifferent�s posts on August 21 in MNO shout box that led me to the conclusion that thinkdifferent = leagao.

Compare thinkdifferent�s writing with that of leagao in his blog.

They both use exactly the same improper English writings. I am sorry to use the word �improper� to describe their English but that is what it was that led to this incredible DISCOVERY.

��..I not understand what your problem with these "experts" is. �..she not recommend anything��.. it not looked good��.I not trust all of them�� a program what fix interests can't be real. ��. better looking programs what gain trust of investors stay longer��but it not helps when you speak bad about some good programs��. 2 days later, after thinkdifferent�s true ID was being exposed on August 21 and disappeared from MNO shout box, suddenly he was hinting at people in one blogger�s shout box that he was from Thailand and he even wrote Thai words.

Obviously it was an act of creating an ALIBI to cover his crime (I was quite amused by that.) by hinting at people that �he was in another place (away from leagao who was supposed to be in Hong Kong) at the time of the crime.

This only adds more evidence to my belief that this is a well-organized GROUP of SCAMMERS in Asia. I have reasons to believe that this leagao character does NOT work alone but is assisted by a few others to run a BLOG and a PONZI scheme and to build an empire as they say and will run away with people�s money when their empire gets BIG enough.

I have no proof in this statement, but one of the programs that they now heavily promote as real business (LOL!!) and are closely associated with called AMF1989 could be their major plot. Beware of that as well!!

As I always despise and hate dishonest people and liars, I want more people to know about it! Please beware of this on-going SCAMMER leagao a.k.a thinkdifferent.

This information served as a warning to our community is a bit long but I hope you find it interesting and helpful!

Yesterday�s headline for the EURUSD was �Slowly rising, signaling weakness�, and the Euro listened, and kept on falling from the weekly open, losing more than 130 pips from its Asian session high. And with this drop, the pair broke our support 1.2675 and dropped more than 40 pips below it so far. This break, even though did not have immediate results, will destroy the Euro on the short term, and probably harm it on the medium term as well. The reason we believe so is that, this break in specific is the single most important technical factor in classifying the rise from 1.2586 as purely corrective. Therefore, we expect the pair to lose ground, and start to drop with targets below last Tuesday�s bottom. Short term support is at 1.2643, and once it is broken we will target the same targets suggested yesterday: 1.2550 first then the all important 1.2432, which is critical for the medium term outlook. On the other hand, the resistance is at 1.2721, and breaking it would reverse the affect of the channel break. This is highly unexpected, but if it happens, the Euro will reject our negative outlook and target important Fibonacci levels at 1.2792 & 1.2871.

Support:
� 1.2643: important intraday level.
� 1.2550: the support area containing Jul 7th & 12th lows.
� 1.2432: Fibonacci 61.8% for the whole rise from 1.1875 to 1.3332.

Resistance:
� 1.2721: Fibonacci 61.8% for the drop from Friday�s top.
� 1.2792: Fibonacci 61.8% for the drop from 1.2920.
� 1.2871: Fibonacci 38.2% level for the drop from the 4-month high of 1.3332.

USD/JPY

Although it came close to the 86 level after this week�s open, reaching a 9-day high, Dollar/Yen came back down in the midst of the disappointment of the BoJ yesterday. The Yen is back in the driver�s seat, and it will drive this pair lower again. The support specified in yesterday�s report at 84.77 was broken, and the price dropped to 84.11 so far. We expect the Yen�s strength to continue, and we believe we will see levels below 83.58 on the short term. We have noticed an ideal (Dark Cloud Cover) candle pattern on the daily chart (please refer to the attached chart), and this is a well known bearish pattern which promises more excitement as we drop lower & lower, especially after the BoJ disappointing the markets yesterday, and the �Japs� saying that they are �watching the currency movement closely�! The market has had it with such statements, the �japs� now will have to take a seat and watch the spectacular Yen show against the Dollar & the Euro. Short term support is at 84.03, if broken, we will be on the way to our long awaited target 82.50, and may be later we will test the psychological level 80.00, given enough time. On the other hand, it is hard now to imagine the Dollar beating the 85.21 resistance, But if it does, it will be violent in the face of those who believe in the Yen, and will shoot to 86.25 & may be 86.81.

Support:
� 84.03: previous well known support/
� 82.50: the trend line combining the monthly lows of Dec 08, Jan & Nov 09, on the weekly chart.
� 80.00: psychological level.

Resistance:
� 85.21: Fibonacci 61.8% for the drop from yesterday�s high.
� 86.25: Jul 16th low.
� 86.81: Jul 26th & 27th low.

GBPUSD

Early this morning, the Pound broke the support specified in yesterday�s report 1.5441, after holding above it all day yesterday. With this break this pair has left the �neutral zone� which we said is between 1.5587 & 1.5441. Therefore, it is only logical now to expect the Pound to dive. But after more than 150 pips down from yesterday�s top, the price is subject to a short term correction, with a condition of staying below 1.5510. The Pound is notorious for breaking, then moving in the other direction, before moving in the right direction smoothly and strongly. Short term support is at 1.5405, which we are trading just above as this report is prepared. If broken, the Pound will continue to fall, passing by 1.53 areas swiftly, and target 1.5293 & 1.5224. On the other hand, we could see a correction up to 1.5510, without changing this negative outlook. But if the Pound manages to break the resistance 1.5510, our negative outlook will suffer, and the price will shoot up to the important 1.5596, and the most important 1.5757.

� 1.5405: previous support/resistance area.
� 1.5293: Jul 22nd high.
� 1.5224: Jul 6th high.

Resistance:
� 1.5510: Fibonacci 61.8% for the drop from yesterday�s top.
� 1.5596: Aug 26th high and the slowly falling trend line from Aug 16th top.
� 1.5757: Fibonacci 61.8% for the drop from Aug 6th major top.
